Data Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

Role Overview

• Initial 6-month contract. Strong likelihood of extension based on project requirements
• Candidates serving up to 1 month notice period can be considered
• Reporting into the Data & AI Division
• Working on core platform engineering initiatives supporting enterprise-scale data and AI capabilities

We are seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer with deep expertise in building and managing modern data platform infrastructure. This role is highly platform-focused and requires strong experience with Kubernetes-based environments, GitOps deployment methodologies, and AI/data platform architecture.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing scalable platforms that enable data and AI workloads, alongside exposure to emerging AI ecosystem technologies and integrations.

Qualifications

• Core Platform Engineering
• Kubernetes (expert level)
• ArgoCD (strong production experience)
• Platform Engineering and Infrastructure Automation
• Cloud-native architecture and operations
• Data & AI Platform Experience

Must demonstrate experience in most or all of the following:

• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture and implementations
• Memory frameworks/components within AI applications
• Evaluation frameworks for AI/LLM performance and quality assessment
• Ontology design, knowledge representation, or semantic data modelling
• Connectors / MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations and ecosystem experience

Seniority: Senior Engineer level only

• Proven track record designing and delivering enterprise platforms
• Comfortable engaging with architects, technical leads, and stakeholder
