Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d)

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining secure, scalable, high-performance software solutions that support the company's fintech platforms, digital payment capabilities, real-time transaction services, and future digital currency-related initiatives. Reporting within the Engineering Department, the role combines hands-on backend engineering, API and integration development, secure coding, performance optimization, technical documentation, and engineering best
practices while working closely with architecture, product, DevOps, security, data, QA, compliance, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and regulated digital financial solutions

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of professional experience in software engineering, backend development, platform engineering, or similar technical roles, preferably within fintech, banking, payments, digital financial services, or other regulated technology environments.
• Experience should include designing and developing enterprise-grade applications, building APIs and integrations, working with relational and NoSQL databases, contributing to microservices and distributed systems, supporting secure SDLC practices, participating in code reviews, improving system performance, resolving production issues, and documenting technical designs.
• Exposure to real-time transaction platforms, digital wallets, payment systems, ISO 20022, SWIFT, AML/CFT considerations, blockchain/DLT, or digital currency platforms is preferred.
• The role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, stakeholder communication, mentoring capability, attention to detail, and professional fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
