SRE Deployment Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Customer Success / Deployment Engineer to support the deployment and implementation of enterprise technology solutions across customer environments in the UAE and wider GCC region.

This is a customer-facing position requiring an individual who can engage directly with clients, gather technical requirements, support solution design discussions, and lead deployments from implementation through to successful handover. The successful candidate will work closely with remote engineering teams and act as the primary technical contact for local customers.

The role offers the opportunity to join a growing regional team and play a key part in supporting expansion across the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to understand technical and operational requirements.
• Conduct on-site visits to support implementation, deployment, configuration, and go-live activities.
• Act as the bridge between customers and engineering teams, translating business and technical requirements into actionable deployment plans.
• Deploy, configure, test, and troubleshoot software solutions within customer environments.
• Provide post-deployment support and guidance to ensure successful adoption of solutions.
• Coordinate with regional and international technical teams to resolve complex issues.
• Produce deployment documentation, implementation plans, and technical reports.
• Support proof-of-concept activities and technical demonstrations where required.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the deployment and customer success lifecycle.

Required Experience & Skills

Essential

• 5+ years of experience in a Deployment Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Site Reliability, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying and managing solutions within customer environments.
• Strong experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
• Ability to engage directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE as required.

Desirable

• Experience deploying solutions within on-premise environments.
• Experience working in air-gapped or highly secure environments.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL-based databases.
• Exposure to cybersecurity technologies or security-focused environments.
• Knowledge of Linux systems and cloud-native technologies.
